Guitars

For the price, this guitar looks and sounds monsterous. Check out the other colors
it comes in, like Arctic Blue, Worn Brown, Chameleon Silver Blue, Ebony, Chameleon
Blue Green, Chameleon Bronze Salmon and Worn Cherry.

I love this guitar. It is light weight but still has a beefy tone. I just dropped a couple
of "Pearly Gates" in to make up for the lighter body. I start out gigs with my Les Paul
Standard but by the end of the first set I have switched to the Epi Ultra because it is
lighter and still sounds like a Les Paul.

Yup, this is me. I don't own one of these yet, but I will. Oh yes, I will. I have wanted
one ever since I first saw one. This guitar made me dream of being a rock star in a
band like the Scorpions or Def Leppard. These loud pickups are slightly mellowed
by the gold covers. There is no need to swap them out unless you must have some
"screamin' demons". This guitar is great for a more classic rock style. I liked playing
a more agressive rhythm with some leads that don't require a lot of speed. It crosses
over to a more modern style quite easily. For a faster neck you would have to get it
refinished with a satin coat. It has great tone and good sustain. The one I tested was
professionally set up so it played like a much more expensive guitar. If you need a
classic you can use on gigs, this is it.

I got this to go with my Marshall amp. It's a good balance of modern and classic.
It has the fast neck and growling tone I need to play scorching riffs. And it looks
cool too.

I got one of each color plus a transparent blue and a sunburst. I did change out
the pickups on four of them for a variety of Duncans and DiMarzios and the last
one got a set of EMG active electronics and pickups. They were pretty great sounding
before I did that though. And they are prety fast too.

I got this guitar just to look cool. I figured I would have to replace the bridge,
electronics, tuners and get the neck set up right. When I pluged it in and played
it I couldn't believe it was only $600. It played like a $1,500+ guitar. I have
never changed a thing on it. It's fast, loud, fun to play and feels really cool.

TOP

If I ever have to replace one of my Les Pauls I'll get this one. The flame maple
top makes it so bright that it cuts through better than a "Strat". It feels
similar to the classic L.P. but not as pricey. It is a more dependable guitar
and will last longer than most classic Les Pauls.

TOP

This is a "strat" on steroids. It plays better than a "strat" and sounds every bit as
classic/vintage with plenty of warmth and character. It can do anything a "strat" can
except be a "strat".

TOP

This guitar plays and sounds as good a other guitars that cost double the price. It's
a good choice for beginners that could become a favorite.

TOP

I love the string-thru-body design and the JB and '59 pickups are perfect for this
guitar. There is a five position switch and coil-tapping so you can aproximate some
"fender" as well as some "gibson" sounds.

I bought this one for my niece. It sounds and plays just like a regular Strat. And it
has the vintage style headstock too.

TOP

I think this is the coolest guitar Fender ever put out. The 2 Duncan Designed humbucking
pickups are hot and the vintage neck is cool. I use it for rhythm or maybe some slow
single note lines.

TOP

Just drop in some James Hetfield pickups and this guitar becomes a metal monster.
