The major and minor scales are the building blocks for all popular music, so they will be the first musical idea we cover.
The major scale is the foundation for chords so chords will be the next musical idea we explore.
Chordes are made to be strummed, plucked and picked. You can't do that without rhythm so........rhythm is the next basic building block.
